Overview

fasting cycle(“Fasting Cycle”) is an intermittent-fasting companion for iPhone, operated by Nomad Code Labs LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app, this website (https://fastingcycle.app), or contact us — and how we handle it.

Fasting Cycle is a wellness tool, not medical advice. Always consult a qualified health professional before changing your diet or fasting routine.

Information we collect

The iPhone app

Data you enter in the app — such as your eating window, weight, water intake, steps, and reminder preferences — is stored on your device. We do not operate a synced cloud account for Fasting Cycle in the current beta; your data stays local unless you choose to share it elsewhere.

If you grant permission in a future release, the app may read step counts or other health metrics from Apple HealthKit. We would only access the categories required for the features you enable, and we would not sell that data.

This website

• Beta signup — if you join the beta, we collect your email, send a verification link, and — after you confirm — email your TestFlight invite.
• Support form — if you contact us, we collect your email, message, and the topic you select so we can respond.
• Basic technical data — our hosting provider may log standard request metadata (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) for security and reliability.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide and improve Fasting Cycle
• Send beta invitations and respond to support requests
• Keep the website and app secure and working reliably
• Comply with law where required

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Where data is processed

The website is hosted on Vercel. Support emails are delivered through our email provider to dev@nmdcd.com. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

App data stored on your iPhone remains under your control via iOS settings and device backups.

Retention

Beta and support emails are kept only as long as needed to manage access, respond to you, or meet legal obligations — then deleted or anonymised.

Data in the app persists on your device until you delete the app or clear its data.

Your choices

• You can uninstall the app at any time to remove locally stored data.
• You can ask us to update or delete information you submitted through this website by emailing dev@nmdcd.com.
• You can manage HealthKit permissions in the iOS Settings app when that integration is available.

Children

Fasting Cycle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves — for example when cloud sync, notifications, or HealthKit integration ship. We will revise the date at the top of this page when we do.
